  • The Capitol Movie Night

    March 5, 2021  7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The Capitol Theatre, 140 E 2nd St, Flint, MI 48502, USA

The Capitol Theatre is reopening its doors once again. Going to see a movie at the Capitol Theatre has been a longstanding tradition. Many Flint locals and ex-pats have fond memories of watching movies at the theatre.

Starting on March 5, that tradition will continue once again with safety guidelines in place. Under the most recent guidelines for performing arts venues, the Capitol Theatre will operate at 20 percent capacity and a maximum of 200 seats.

During the month of March, movie-goers can enjoy these movies:

    • March 5 – Cool Hand Luke (PG)
    • March 12 – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (PG-13)
    • March 19 – Love Jones (R)
    • March 26 – Toy Story (G)

Movies times start at 7 p.m. Concessions will be limited and will only be available for purchase between 6:15 p.m. and the start of the movie. Concessions cannot be consumed until patrons are in their seats and masks may only be removed while consuming snacks.

Movie tickets are $10 for adults, $3 for children 12 and under. Additionally, Genesee County Residents will receive 50 percent off normal ticket prices as a benefit of the Genesee County Arts Education and Cultural Enrichment Millage funds.

Tickets are for sale at the Ticket Center at The Capitol Theatre Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased by phone at (810) 237-7333 and online at capitoltheatreflint.com.
